Create a Limited User

When you enter your IdSurvey Admin interface for the first time we suggest to create user profiles for you and your colleagues first.
You can create a Limited User or an Administrator User .
Administrator users can enter, edit and see everything while a Limited User has limited access and authorizations.

In this article we’ll explain how to create a Limited User.

Instructions

Go to “Users” section and click on “+” button on top left.
Insert a Username and Password for your user. Password must be at least 8 characters long and must contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character !@#$%^&+=

When you create a limited user, or any new user in general, you may notice that the “Administrator” button on top left is disabled by default. Insert other extra information you may want to save.
In the box “Accessible folders” click on “Edit list of folders” to select folders that the user will be able to access.

In the “Authorizations” box below you’ll have to decide if the limited user can or cannot display or edit specific sections of the surveys included in folders enabled in “Accessible folders”. List of Authorizations:

Section Interviewers

Interviewers settingsEnabling “Read Only” the user will just display the list of Interviewers. He/she will be able to assign interviewers to surveys.

Enabling “Edit” the user will display, create and edit the list of Interviewers, single profiles and Group of Interviewers. He/she will be able to assign interviewers to surveys.

Unlock Interviewers

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will unlock blocked interviewers. (Close on-going sessions)

Section Surveys

Surveys ManagementEnabling “Read Only” the user will just the survey and subsections he/she will be enabled to display.

Enabling “Edit” the user will display and edit all survey settings.

Questions Management

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will create and edit questionnaire.

Contacts Management

Enabling “Read Only” the user will just display contacts associated to the survey.

Enabling “Edit” the user will display, create and edit, import the list of contacts associated to the survey.

Contact Data Repository

Enabling “Read Only” the user will just display data contained in the Contact Data Repository.

Enabling “Edit” the user will display, create and edit, import the list of  repository data.

Quotas Management

Enabling “Read Only” the user will just display quotas.

Enabling “Edit” the user will display, create and edit, import quota.

Assign Interviewers

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will associate interviewers to the surveys.

Data Export

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will export data in different formats.

Direct Call

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will be able to find a contact to book an appointment via Admin interface or re-open a completed interview.
Reset Attempts

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will reset attempt for those contacts who reached maximum number.

Unlock Contacts

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user will unlock blocked contacts. (Close on-going sessions)

Open End Encoder

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user can enter the Open End Encoder function.

Appointments Management

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The user can re-Appointments managementbooked by an interviewer to other interviewers.

Incorrect numbers

For this section you can only enable “Edit” mode. The list of contacts with “Incorrect number” outcome will be displayed and the user will be able to update telephone numbers.

Permission to consult Frequencies statistics.
