NOTE: to import a list of contacts in version 6 check related article.

In the “Contacts Management” section of the survey menu you can upload a list of contacts (respondents) to associate to your project.

The contacts list has to be imported with an Excel file.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • You don’t have to include every column header when you import a list of contacts. You can just use those you need to insert the information you have. You can use them in any order.
  • Fields cannote be renamed.
  • The “PhoneNumber” field is necessary for CATI surveys.
  • The “UTC” field specifies the time zone the contact is in and it’s used by the system to be sure that the calls are made in the preset timeframe. For example: for a contact in Italy you have to set UTC 1, for a contact in Canada UTC -7. For positive UTC the sign “+” is not necessary. If this field is not included in the uploaded file, the contacts will automatically get a UTC value based on the server’s time. Instead, if this field is included in the uploaded file, it must have a value for each row.
  • Fields from “Field1” to “Field15” can be used to store information not labelled in other fields.
  • Column headers have to be written exactly as shown. Check that no blank spaces are present before or after the name or IdSurvey won’t recognize the field (a message as “Field Name not valid” will be displayed).
  • Each field has a maximum number of characters. Some fields can only include specific format/type of value:
